Nydia and Glen's Wedding

Hey Everyone! This is Associate Photographer Ryan Lagrand chimming in to tell you a bit about my time with Nydia and Glen.

Nydia and Glen had their big day at the Green River Club in Corona. My assistant Will and I met them a few hours prior at the Aires Suites just a few miles away. Setting a record for awesomeness and number of rooms rented for a party, Nydia and Glen had rented an astonishing 28 rooms for their family and friends.

As weddings often do we started to run a bit late. Ceremony time was fast approaching and we still had to get shots of the boys and girls! Setting a goal to leave the suites by 345 we quickly gathered the girls, click click, and then gathered and shot the boys.

Before we knew it we had made up for all the time we had lost and had even gotten ourselves a sizeable time cushion to shoot some formals just before the ceremony.

Me being a dork, and Nydia and Glen being nothing but awesome, we took a quick hike past the golf course where we found gorgeous golden grass, and a choo choo train. After snapping some shots around these spots we turned tail back to the Club, and started to prepare for the ceremony.

The Ceremony went off without a hitch. It was almost 6pm and the light was just about perfect. Nydia and Glen exchanged their vows by taking turns going back and forth. I haven't seen this often, and point of fact the only times I have seen it were in couples that had reached a part in their Love for eachother that they feel comfortable together, and at the same time never forgot their passion for eachother.

At their Reception we learned that Nydia's brother was Dj'ing her wedding. He is truly a man who loves his sister. Immediately after the speeches he decided it was time for a performance for his sister and his new brother. He sang a duette! both parts by himself (like a boss). The rest of the night the dance floor was never short of dancing bodies. The tables were packed with Nydia and Glen's guests, and it's safe to say that a good time was had by everyone.

Way to throw and Awesome wedding you guys, Y'all set the bar as high as it goes.
