Wow .. that's all I can say. So it's been a long time since I have been on vacation.. Costa Rica about 2 years ago...long time. So out of a whim my ex husband's wife (Sarah who is one of my BFF's) and I decided to book a practically last minute trip to Puerto Vallarta.. we wanted something cheap.. all inclusive and just relaxing!!! So for about $1,000.00 per person we headed out to P.V.... and it was amazing. The place we stayed at Vallarta Palace was wonderful... very detail oriented. Super nice too! We were there for 5 days, mostly eating and drinking although I am not a big drinker I did enjoy some beers "preparadad" with lime, salt and clamato. We ate tons and tons of Seafood, lots and lots of seafood cocktails with the freshest Octopus, Scallops and Shrimp. The best place we went to was off of Punta Mita. We took a boat to a couple of little islands right off the coast .. there was a little cove with a private little beach inside the island, literally under the island with a whole above to let the sun in.. it was gorgeous and the snorkeling was wonderful. The water was super clear. One place I would avoid would be the main area in Purto Vallarta .. there was a Bubba Gump there ENOUGH SAID! We met the greatest guy there. He was out taxi driver.. Raul.. he took us everywhere there.. all the local spots, the hidden gems, away from tourists. I almost cried when I was hugging him when he dropped us off at the airport! I had the greatest time.. it's a must for anyone!!!
